The first version of Ride the Beast was a 50′ video of writers in action, within and outside the law. Due to costs and difficulties to gather the material, Ride the Beast turned into a free webzine.

Number 0 came to life in 2006 and was downloaded 1000 after only one month, increasing issue after issue.
